About Us
Welcome to Health Through Yoga CIC
At Health Through Yoga CIC, we know yoga, yoga therapy and mindfulness practices can make a huge difference to a persons health and quality of life. And we believe that these services should be accessible to everyone.

We are a not-for-profit organisation working across Norfolk, Suffolk, and online, offering yoga therapy, yoga and mindfulness for health and wellbeing.

Our aim is simple: to help people improve their health and their lives through yoga and mindfulness. We don’t just offer classes — we teach practical skills that can empower you to take more control of your health and wellbeing.
What we do
We offer a wide range of therapeutic and accessible yoga services for individuals, groups, and organisations, including:

-
Yoga therapy — personalised one-to-one sessions to support specific health needs such as stress, anxiety, chronic pain, fatigue, trauma recovery, physical rehabilitation and healthy ageing.
-
Accessible yoga classes — group sessions designed to meet people where they are, with options for mixed abilities.
-
Workshops, courses, retreats and retreat days — opportunities to step away from daily life, deepen your practice, and find rest and renewal.
-
Partnership work with health services — collaborating with professionals to provide complementary care.
-
Corporate wellbeing programmes — supporting staff health, resilience, and stress management in the workplace.
-
Children and schools (coming soon) — yoga and mindfulness programmes to support younger people with stress, emotional wellbeing, and healthy development.
Why yoga therapy?
Yoga therapy goes beyond a general yoga class. It is a therapeutic, tailored approach that adapts yoga practices to each individual. Every session is designed with your unique needs, limitations, and goals in mind.

Yoga therapy can support a wide range of health challenges, including both physical conditions and mental health concerns. This includes:

-
musculoskeletal issues such as back, neck, hip, or shoulder pain
-
arthritis and joint problems
-
recovery after injury or surgery
-
respiratory conditions like asthma or long COVID
-
digestive issues and gut health
-
neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s, MS, or the effects of stroke
-
chronic pain and fatigue
-
balance, mobility, and healthy aging
-
stress, anxiety, trauma, and depression

A yoga therapy session might include gentle movement, breathing practices, mindfulness, guided relaxation, or lifestyle tools — always chosen to be safe, accessible, and manageable for you. The aim is to meet you where you are and support your whole health, body and mind together.
Our values
Everything we do is grounded in three key values:
-
Accessible — yoga for every body, age, and ability.
-
Empowering — giving people tools to take charge of their own health and wellbeing.
-
Compassionate — offering a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and respected.
A not-for-profit with community at heart
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), our work is not driven by profit. Any surplus goes directly back into supporting the community. This allows us to offer funded and low-cost yoga therapy sessions for those in need, as well as free community classes.
